New Investments

Due to the success achieved by Seclam factory in exporting high quality natural processed cheese, Seclam recently invested in a technologically advanced production line for processed portion cheese, which will be sold locally and exported. Production began in October 2002. This investment is the first stage of development for processed cheese production. Another major investment was accomplished with the purchase of a state-of-the-art Form, Fill & Seal machine for yogurt.

This machine is also accompanied with processing equipment, incubation and fast cooling operations. The new production line will produce yogurt using technology identical to that used in Europe.

With regards to certification, Seclam recently attained the HACCP & ISO 9000 certificates in December 2002, and is currently applying the ISO 14000 system.
